Domaine Bornard Savagnin Amphore Mammouth Georgien 2020

Part of an experiment with three different vessels for maceration, a 700 litre Georgian Qvevri was buried beside Philippe Bornard’s house. It’s literally an amber wine with immense energy and drinkability but complexity too. There are spices such as cloves and liquorice on the nose and white fruits such as apricots and peaches.
