A brain child of Jo Pithon, Grololo was born in 2005. Why the name Grololo? It is a play on words, as Grololo (colloquial French word) is made of 100% grolleau, typical of Anjou. The rose is a direct press of grolleau grapes that ferment in tank and are bottled the February after harvest. This pink is fruity and textural. Strawbs galore but with a savoury edge. Worth decanting to let the flavours really open up - thirst-quenching grolleau goodness right here.
