Domaine Staderoli Mon Sot Mignon Sauvignon Gris Pinot Gris 2023

Sauvignon gris is one of the rarer varieties going around with a personality that kind of marries chardonnay with pinot gris with sauvignon blanc with a touch of riesling, or something like that. This a blend of sauvignon gris with pinot gris to produce a lushly textured white with a core of scintillating, minerally acidity. Think light and fresh but then find a bit more depth than you expect. Nashi pear meets tonic water with a squeeze of lime and some briny inflections. Very cool wine.
