Filippo Calabresi delivers a sangiovese from the hilltop town of Cortona in Tuscany. Seven days of maceration and aged in both amphora and barrel for five months. Flavours of Mediterranean spices, cooked dark cherries, liquorice. A low acidity wine, juicy with serious edges. Serve chilled, give it some air to breathe, but don’t think too much, just get stuck in and enjoy it!
