From the Rorick Heritage Vineyard of Forlorn Hope by Forlorn Hope. This wine is a mix of zinfandel, trousseau, mondeuse, a wonderful alliance of big, light, fine, tannic. Magnificent! Italianate flavours of herbs and sweet earth and sour cherry. Fantastic. Long, lean and tightly wound, it’s words about tannin and structure that ring loud here. Such a good, detailed, interesting, layered wine. Yewww!
