Pinot gris, of course, in a rose style. From Adelaide Hills. This is the Cali-based Matt Rorick (Forlorn Hope) project, but down under.
Fragrant, fresh and savoury scented wine. Pale garnet coloured. Rosy wine, sour cherry, cranberry tang, pomegranate juice and a good dusting of white pepper and minty green herbs. Tart rose style, lots of powdery pucker and chew in texture too. Zesty finish. Zingy even. It’s a bit of a wild ride here but all of it comes together nicely. I like it. - The Wine Front
