Dynamic father and son duo Bob and Tom Colman make wine in Blackheath, sourcing only the best organic or biodynamic grapes from cool climate regions of NSW. This wine is from Orange and Mudgee, predominately whole bunch malbec, with some whole bunch cabernet sauvignon, de-stemmed shiraz with de-stemmed cabernet sauvignon and sauvignon blanc co-ferment. Wow what a blend!
Bob and Tom have purposely held onto this wine and boy has the wine loved the extra time to rest. It's perfectly in balance, with a bright lifted intense red fruit core, intense nutmeg floating by a lovely acid backbone. Get amongst it before it's all gone.
