What the? Mourvedre? From Rhone? Yep, that's the deal. Lots of dark cherry, game meat, violet floral lift and a few sprigs of dried herbs. It's juicy and bright, a little chewy with dusty tannin and yet manages to be an antithetical Rhone wine in its freshness and brightness. Such a delight to drink, and dare we say, done with a light chill for good measure.
