Mukai Natsu no Omoide
The Mukai Shuzo brewery began in 1754. Kuniko Mukai became one of the first female brewers in Japan and has propagated rare "100 year old" yeast from the Tokyo Agricultural University where she studied.
Mukai Shuzo Natsu no Omoide has rich umame character, subtle notes of sweet and sour apricot as well as some bitter caramel undertones.
Rebecca Dowling Shino Glaze Handmade Ceramic Sake Set
P&V founder and co-owner Louise has a very talented sister, Bec, who is a ceramicist in Cowra, NSW. She makes each of these beautiful, custom sake sets by hand and fires them to stoneware level so that they can withstand any temperature and glazes them with a Shino with red iron oxide wash. Bring a bit of zen to the table and the drinking experience. Say kanpai in style. Each set comes with a jug and four serving cups. N.B. each and every piece is one-of-a-kind, no two are exactly alike!
