A higher altitude, cool climate valley. Very long maceration of skins and stems. About seven months of skin maceration, as is pretty much standard in Georgia (to Easter, a celebration!).
Deep amber colour. Scents of apricot nectar, sweet spice, burned orange/spiced orange. Very tannic wine, firm, grippy and smoky, shows orangey and some dried apricot characters, formidable structure, epic in its carriage across the palate. Impressive wine this. Tannin for days.
