Das Juice Pet Nat 2020
It's made entirely from sauvignon blanc from Mornington Peninsula. It's a zippy little number and it won't be here for long!
Little Brunswick Wine Co. Tidy Town Bin Chicken Blanco 2020
Grown on Wadawurrung land in Sutherlands Creek. The Bin Chicken project aims to take grapes that would otherwise struggle to sell and make them an income stream for the growers.
So juicy, so delicious, so moreish. All lemon juice in ripe apple with saline tang. Nutty too. While wholly vibrant and fresh, this thing does savoury well. Far out, so fun, so good. - The Wine Front
Year Wines Noodle Juice 2020
Grillo and arneis make easy bedfellows in this zingy, cloudy, natural-leaning number. Let the good times roll. No label handy, but its a chalky looking sketch of fork and noodles on a clear glass bottle.
Golden delicious apples, faint honeycomb, zingy ripe lemony acidity, some herbal detail and a general sense of vivacity and fun. Right on! Drinks a charm, thirst-quenching as a Solo in hell and delivers the word ‘fun’ to the front of your face, quickly. This is wicked drinking. Not just quaffer grape juice either, quite interesting and great texture to boot. - The Wine Front
Fin Wines The Niz Rose
Nebbiolo Infested zone is a collaboration with our friends at Byrdi. It is a Nebbiolo dominated rosé, with a dash of Pinot Gris. Grown in Tahbilk, in the Goulburn Valley. Handpicked, foot stomped at the vineyard, then pressed after a long lunch and long drive back to the winery. Fermented in old oak and bottled after 2 months. Wild ferment. Park Wine Yeaaaaaah!
Cantaloupe, Strawberry Gum and Cherry blossom with a snap of crisp fresh acidity. - Fin Wines
Frederick Stevenson Pinata 2020
64% cinsault, 19% grenache, 15% shiraz, & 2% mourvedre - in case you were wondering !
Game meat, red currants, dried fruit, cranberry. Sort of rich bouquet with the palate doing what the label says, dry red, and settling comfortably into a medium weight, spicy, powdery-tannin etched wine. Nice drinking. Real nice drinking. Slap it in a carafe. Lots of charisma. Easy as. Pasta please.
Somos Tintito 2019
Doesn't really matter what the grape varieties are here, there's a few of them all squished together, the message is way more about the super smashable, easy drinking, interesting wine that results. Somos are knocking it out of the park for good (value) wines and this is no miss. It reeks of sour and sweet berries, fennel, pepper, and tastes kinda similar, juicy as, bright to finish, thirst-quenching and straight up darn good medium bodied red. Yeehaaw. Get this in your carafes and tumblers.
