Our lovely friend, Richie Harkham, went to Japan with some of his friends and this wine is named after that trip. Make of that what you will!
As with all of Richie's wines, this is strong and structured. A blend of two of his best barrels of semillion; a marrying of classic styles and modern thinking. Marchpane, almond, yellow grapefruit pith and a taut, linear acid through-line - this holds great appeal in the glass and has definite ageing potential if you have the patience for that kind of thing.
Probably best to just get two.
