Hamish, the winemaker, has been travelling and learning through vocational experience and a lot of wine drinking. His first releases of the personal project is made in suburban Wollongong. 

Chardonnay here from Tamburlaine's high country Orange vineyard, produced in amphora and has spent two months on skins before pressing.

Electric acidity, a gravelly chew to texture, lots of dried orange and brown spice with a wild slash of minty and dill herbal characters and some white balsamic zing. It's fresh, it's somewhere between bright and very savoury, marrying the too in an eclectic elixir that sits under the umberalla of wine at the wilder end of the spectrum, but has refreshment factor and good energy.
