Hopeless Thoughtful Milk and Butterflies 2023

Hamish, the winemaker, has been travelling and learning through vocational experience and a lot of wine drinking. His first releases of the personal project is made in suburban Wollongong. 

Skin contact pinot grigio from an organic vineyard in Molong, Central Ranges. Quite the hazy, ruddy colour. Tart herbal lift over white strawberry, cranberry drink and pomegranate juice, cut grass and white pepper. Finishes somewhat short with some hazelnut savouriness. Wilder edged wine, a conversation starter for those on their Gold License for natural wines. In all that, a fun, party wine experience.
