What the? Cabernet sauvignon?? But isn't it a white(ish) wine. That's right. The considered approach by winemaker James Erskine has led to this point, a white(ish) wine that involves red grapes, resulting in a brisk, vital, energetic wine of zestiness and refreshing tang. It's got all the game of a park wine while stepping up and asserting more complexity than you'd expect, and, indeed, you might even cellar this for a short spell to see it morph and change and do different things. Bottom line, it is insanely good drinking and wildly interesting too.
