Unique, full-bodied, complex. Initially a touch sweet, but yielding to an earthier mid-palate. The finish is full of acidity and spice. Has the guts to stand up to rich, fatty meats (pork belly, anyone?) and spicy dishes. These brewers have been at it since 1879, famous for this distinctly rich, unpasteurised and intriguing style.
Serve Chilled.
Handling: Once opened the Kidoizumi 'Hakugyokuko' will last well for at least 6 - 8 weeks, ideally in a refrigerator.
