A blend of 80% zweigelt and 20% st laurent, this Burgenland born beauty is savoury as anything - sanguine, iodine and minerality lead the charge with plump, ripe fruit for days. Hand harvested and hand pressed, it sees about 10 days on skins before being pressed off into stainless steel tanks and acacia barrels for 14 months of elevage on the gross lees - this is incredibly gently made wine with the smallest addition of sulfur at bottling. - Liz Carey
