Well, well, well...what have we here? A half bottle of co-fermented skin contact pinot gris, riesling and gewurztraminer from AJ Hoadley in Denmark, WA. This guy is a bit of a wizard when it comes to fragrant white wines, and this is no exception. A proper orange wine here, hazy and textural, with the pronounced perfume of Turkish delight, dried flowers, honey, pears and lychees. Plenty of baking spice and candied citrus peel vibes, too. Grippy indeed, but a saline kick and a lick of acid at the end keep the refreshment factor high. YEW!
