The 2023 Gonzo is a relative lightweight, in terms of ABV at least weighing in at a wafer thin 10.4%. Its the prettiest version producer so far with its peony rose florals, marshmallow and freshly pressed watermelon juice with a light dusting of cola spice. Its customary Euro funk remains bringing it back to earth. Light and refreshing at any temperature. Juicy just ripe watermelon, red citrus, white cherry flavours in good concentration. Light fluffy tannins that don’t mind a chill. This is a delight! - Tim Stock, wine maker
