‘A dream ten years in the making: the first Little Frances wine grown and made in Beechworth’, offers winemaker Erin Pooley.
Beautiful wine. Eye of partridge hue. Gentle, silky texture with a fine buff of silty tannin lending some light shape. The wine scented and flavoured as just-ripe peach, green almond, ginger and quince. Succulent through its long finish. The wine slips along like luxurious textiles, feels quietly complex and strongly refreshing. Elegance is another word that pops into mind. You get a wine that’s like a detailed rose or similar here.
