From Tumbarumba, so an excursion from the organic fields of M&J Becker estate vines in the Hunter Valley. Thumping heavy (beautiful) bottle here too. Almost ironic (beautiful) packaging, and certainly inverse semiotics, for the light, bright, natty feeling wine in my glass.
Pale, hazy garnet colour. Evocative sour cherry, game meat, sweet spice and alpine herb scents. Juicy and yet light in the palate, wishy washy but with a cinch of fine, feathery tannins, so very fresh in acidity, a beautiful wash of flavour and texture over the palate, lingering sour-sweetness of the perfect bite and succulence. Such a good wine here. You so easily fall under its spell. Such drinkability too. - The Wine Front
