From a newer (younger, but tended mighty fine organically) Mendall vineyard, this is the second iteration of this wine. It's a heroic white of immense texture and easy pleasure shaped through the grape variety macabeo. As with all Mendall wines there's a sense of energy and tension, electric acidity and strong minerality, albeit this wine dials in a little nutty savouriness and beautiful saline, salty characters too. It's heady in perfume, quince, preserved lemon, ginger, with flavours similar, pure, lively and so darn nice to sip on. One of the great cult, natural wine producers of Spain giving us the good juice. Oh yeah.
