A bunch of different fermentations contribute to this fun-lovin’, bright and crushable red. Moorak is the project of winemaker Jordan Hein, based out of McLaren Vale, and doing some interesting stuff, no doubt.
Pomegranate juice, garam masala spice, white pepper, brambles and rosemary herbal notes. Lots going on. Feels very crisp yet juicy, fruity but also savoury, held in check by a web of fine, lacy tannins and finishing succulent, mouth-watering and fresh. A delight! I can imagine this drunk with a chill too. Thirst-quenching stuff, but with a little extra going on and around it. - The Wine Front
