The Marie Besnard vineyard is a 1 hectare parcel that is right next to the Le Rouchefer vineyard. The vines are 70 years old and were planted using selection massale.
The wine was fermented then aged in 2 year old barrels for 22 months and then bottled in 2017 then held for another year before releasing it.
This wine will last for many years and is quite dry although there is always that Mosse signature of a little (<2 grams per litre) residual sugar that gives the wine a spark.
Only 1,000 bottles were made. - Living Wines
