Nicolas Reau Attention Chenin Merchant Chenin Blanc 2022

Nicolas’s love for wine began at a young age, but he first pursued a career as a jazz pianist until he saw an advertisement for a degree in viticulture and oenology and decided to trade scales for secateurs. In 1998 Nicolas took over a 28ha estate in Anjou. After three years of analysis, he culled 23ha, retaining only the 5ha clos. Ferments are wild, no adjustments are made, nor does he fine or filter. Sulphur is applied by cuvée and vintage and only at bottling.
