Dark Emu: Aboriginal Australia and the Birth of Agriculture – Bruce Pascoe
Author, academic and historian Bruce Pascoe has written one of the world’s most significant books, Dark Emu, a detailing of Australian history through a truer lens. The book re-examines colonial and contemporary accounts of Aboriginal people in Australia with evidence and detailing of the historical agriculture, life and culture of Aboriginal Australia. This is a non-negotiable read to understand and appreciate the deep history of Australia’s sustainable agriculture and the historical and future potential of farming in Australia.
