Completing the trifecta of wacky Loire X Jura wines that Patrice Beguet unleashed this year, Go Together is 90% Gamay from Ancenis, and 10 Savagnin from marnes bleues and marnes blanches (blue and white marl) soils in the Jura. Patrice says "the Gamay provides notes of blackberry jam, and the Savagnin adds aromatics," and we'd say a bit of spice and saltiness too. Ripe blackberry and raspberry fruit and subtle pomegranate tartness on the palate. It's juicy and fresh, but has some structure and verges on medium bodied, though the low alcohol and zippy acidity make it a prime candidate for a light chill. A touch of CO2 gas is still present, so let the wine breath for about 10 minutes and it will settle down.
