Organically farmed mtsvane from the Georgian wine poster children known as Pheasant's Tears. De-stemmed and kept on the skins for two weeks, fermented in kvevri the traditional way. A riot of exotic tropical fruits, mixed oranges, toasted nuts and something of the earth – peat, smoke, matchstick. Rosehip tea and dried flowers somewhere in there, too. Firm and plump on the palate...lots going on here! Wowza.
