From Piedmont and a combination of local grape varieties in nebbiolo, vespolina, croatina and uva rara, this is a fleshy, full, spicy, earthy, savoury red of just over medium weight, concentration, quiet power. Most importantly, it's really, really delicious. It rolls soft at first then finishes puckering and earthy-brambly. Winter warmer with some beauty to it. You'll want more.
