Hello crunchy red thing. Old bush vine pinotage planted in 1968 on the Langkloof farm in Swartland. These vines are farmed by Sholtz Roussouw, the wine is made by Jurgen Gouws, funded by Jeanette and David Clarke. Their aim is to be transparent and that includes the name! 80% of the grapes were fermented in stainless steel, semi- carbonic maceration and the rest were lightly pressed, then made into a rose. The rose component was later blended back in to add an extra crisp textural layer. Its aromatic and breezy, great with a chill to bring out that pomegranate tang.
