Skin fermented white wine of the highest pedigree, indeed, we often say that Ruggabellus suite of 'white', well, orange wines, are the best in the country - so complex, so resolved, patiently sent to bottle after long time in vessels and rested judiciously before release. Skin fermentation happens across various lengths and days before a blend is made. The real deal.
This is, as usual, outstanding. Chewy, textural, highly aromatic, very savoury, all dried citrus, dried apple, tangy acidity and lively, nutty savouriness in tow. It's proper orange wine and wildly delicious, hugely satisfying and very complex. Outstanding wine.
