Sabi Wabi Nomu Syrah Nouveau 2024

There are two parcels of fruit used for this wine (from the sub-regions of Broke and Pokolbin in the Hunter). One parcel is direct-pressed (sorta rosé winemaking) and the other fermented as whole berries. This means you get a freshness washing over the darker fruit and spice elements, making the wine silky textured, a little crisp, a vibrant wash of rose hip tea character, a general coolness to the wine overall. Clever winemaking from Peta Kotz. A delicious wine ensues.
