Vineyard is Rosnay out in Canowindra, organic since inception. Fertile ground, increasingly, for New South Wales natural winemakers. Stomped on and had 24 hours skin contact, off to press, hung out in old barrel.
Savoury, nutty, saline, mandarin juice, bright acidity, light nougat characters. Rolls around the palate nicely, some ferrous characters in the mix. Yeasty as all get out but as it opens it finishes vibrant and perky clean. Has a lot of interest here. Wild-edged, unashamedly, and as per the intent of winemaker to be expressive. - The Wine Front
