From the four hectare estate of this multi-generational wine producer, now led by the winemaker Sylvère Trichard. Skin fermented rose here, and just gamay. No additions, organic farmed. Beautiful colour. Plugged into the power socket.
Peach fuzz and strawberry, raspberry notes and sour cherry, whiffs of fennel and green herb. All on. Crisp texture, almost glass shard crunch, light red berry notes, herbal dashes, pepper and spice, squeaky finish, wild edged but certain and bright and damn, so delicious. Wildly successful interpretation of rose, loaded with character - The Wine Front
