Serodes & Kovac Vallee Des Aigles Cazot Orange 2023

An exotic blend of grenache blanc, macabeo, grenache gris and muscat of Alexandria, all of which get skin fermented. The fruit from organic vines in Languedoc-Roussillon wine region and a producer who is known for work with orange wines. There's citrus blossom, guava, just-ripe pineapple and edgy, herbal characters in spades here. The texture is chalky and then drying and it's spicy through the finish. An exciting amber wine.
