Si Vintners Baba Yaga 2024

Baba Yaga is a blend of skin contact sauvignon Blanc and a touch of cabernet sauvignon. (Our Mike Bennie suggested such a thing way back in the day to the Si Vintners duo, and incredibly they listened to him, then they made a great wine out of his 'joke'.)

The sauvignon blanc undergoes skin contact fermentation. Towards the end of this 3-4 week period, we begin harvesting our early portions of cabernet sauvignon. Some whole bunches are added. Both varieties are then co-fermented on skins for a brief additional period before being pressed off into stainless steel and seasoned oak barrels. - Si Vintners
