Gorgeous Tasmanian gamay from the late and great Vaughn Dell. Handpicked from the high density Sinapius vineyard, it had 3 weeks of whole bunch carbonic maceration before 7 months in old oak. Scents of green leaves, purple and red berries with black cherry, violets, plus that familiar gamay farmyard scent. The palate is juicy and exciting, with a tiny lick of tannin to balance out the end. Fun and thoughtful.
