Made by Zsolt Sütö in Strekov, Slovakia. 100% Blaufrankish, destemmed, pressed and fermented in open-top fermenters for two weeks. It is then matured in 500l Zemplén oak barrels on the lees for si x to eight months. Unfined, unfiltered and no additions.
Gentle and intensely flavoursome. Pine forest, purple berries and earthy spice, with smooth tannin. What a delight!
