Sud de Frank wines are the result of the Original Odd-Couple pairing of Jared Dixon, of Jilly Wines in New England, NSW, and Dan Graham of Sigurd in the Barossa. The concept being fine, thirst quenching wines, made with grapes from both of their respective regions, at an approachable price point.
Funnily enough this one is all South Australia fruit, Merlot, Carignan and Semillon from Barossa and Clare. This is most definitely of the ain't-afraid-of-a-chill mob, plumes of soft tannin gently guide this bright-fruited sloshing goodness,while touches of spice keep your tastebuds ignited. Giddy up.
