Here's a totally different look at Bordeaux. From the Right Bank, a third generation wine producer in his mid-30s who inherited the family wines and decided to go minimal intervention, low-no sulphur, organic farmed wines in a less conventional kind of way. Intrigue. The labelling alone must have the Bordelais in fits.
Bright, juicy, fleshy red of choc-berry fruit characters meshed to light greenery, peppery spice, brambly character. Feels full in flavour yet pure and a tug of grippy tannins does the trick long through the finish of the wine. Clear, bright, deep cab franc flavours resonate. It's so delicious. - Mike Bennie, WineFront
