A younger generation, but third generation Bordelais, farming organically, producing with low input winemaking, less or no sulphur. Wilder edged expressions have emerged. Quite a thing for Bordeaux.
Opulent red of velvety texture, freshness, fine spread of chewy tannins, plummy fruit, green olive, earthy clove character. Dense and dark yet fresh and slurpable, there's a big, bold wine under the vitality and general sense of loose-knit nature to the wine, though the tannin pucker never lets that get out of hand. Exciting expression.
