Turning unwanted smoke tainted grapes into a range of incredible beers...... only the likes of Topher Boehm of Wildflower Bering in Marrickville and Bryan Martin of Ravensworth Wines Murrumbateman are the two to make this dream come true! Working on the idea that smokiness isn't an unwanted or unlooked for flavour in a viariety of food and drink (Islay whisky anyone??!!) the project was born.
Some things in life are bad, they can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best
And..........Always look on the bright side of life
Wildflower Bright Side: Shiraz – Pale garnet, hazy, in glass. Raspberry, fennel, tropical fruits, green leafy herbs, sea spray scents. Great intro. A bit wishy washy in the palate, well it spreads a little wide and soft, feels fresh, cranberry drink and green herb, white pepper, a touch of smoky paprika spice. Finishes soft, lightly fizzy, very fresh feeling, charming to the utmost. Fun beer here. - The Wine Front
