Turning unwanted smoke tainted grapes into a range of incredible beers...... only the likes of Topher Boehm of Wildflower Bering in Marrickville and Bryan Martin of Ravensworth Wines Murrumbateman are the two to make this dream come true! Working on the idea that smokiness isn't an unwanted or unlooked for flavour in a viariety of food and drink (Islay whisky anyone??!!) the project was born.
Some things in life are bad, they can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best
And..........Always look on the bright side of life
Wildflower Bright Side: Viognier – golden yellow colour, whiffs of beehive, lanolin, toasty notes, floral whiffs, sourdough. Really pretty to sniff on. Tart and fresh feeling, almost peppery amongst the citrus tang and light honey character, nashi pear, nectarine. Interesting, and very, very refreshing. Finishes tonic water-like and tart. Zesty, fresh, fine, very good in a lighter expression of wild ferment beer. - The Wine Front
