No sulphur, no additions, a mix of grenache, syrah, cinsault and mataro. Summer wine. The ‘label’ is a hand-drawn, line drawing of a sausage on a flat piece of bread. Bunning’s wine.
Light garnet colour. Has a juiciness and almost extreme vitality, almost like guzzling straight-from-the-press grape juice, but there’s a clatter of tangy acidity and some fine powdery tannins in tow. Think sour-sweet cherry, amaro, a touch of cherry cola, but finishes tangy and bright. Oh yes. Chill well, guzzle long. - The Wine Front
