Savagnin grapes from the south of Jura, and made in qvevri. What a coup! This is one of Cossard's more sought after expressions, a delicious take on the regional speciality, produced in a topped up, ouille style. Salted nuts, sea spray, green apple, light curry powder whiffs and tastes, with concentration and intensity of green apple fruit a feature in the palate. Exceptionally long, powerful yet graceful. Such a brilliant wine.
