We love these wines from Lebanon. So distinct, so interesting, so delicious. Here, the local grape variety merwah is fermented on its skins for three weeks. It results in a chewy, chalky textured orange wine with succulent acidity, a strong course of fresh citrus married to dry citrus peel, green apple tang, light lychee freshness and some distinct woody and savoury spice in tow. It has great energy, shows good depth, and, of course, good intensity of flavour. A delight in drinking.
