Michel Gahier is one of those producers that if you're in the know, ya know. Old school, good school, located in the dress circle Jura village of Montigny Les Arsures, home to Puffeney and Tissot, with some of the best and oldest vineyards in the region. Trousseau under Gahier's gentle winemaking is pure, fine boned, elegant, shows some more depth than expected and drinks with cherry juice fruitiness, earthy savouriness and dried herbal lift.
