From a sought-after Savoie producer working organic and biodynamic and the like. It’s roussanne here, but I immediately went to oxidative whites from elsewhere when tasting, not that it is a dominant character, but it is there, and delightfully so.
Sea spray, lime, candied ginger green apple – these the mainstays. Succulent texture, very minerally feel, a chalkiness through the finish. Lively perfume with jasmine floral highlights in the mix of the other fruit and savoury things, a great pleasure to sniff on. Feels almost medium weight in its vibe, and finishes long and bright.
