From a single vineyard. This is a textural, sophisticated sauvignon blanc with hallmark passionfruit, mixed tropical fruit, cut grass, sage leaf, white pepper and green almond characters, albeit with concentration, good extension of flavour and a pleasing, pretty (and not too overt!) perfume. It slips along the palate with purity and yet a little chewiness to sure up textural elements and keep drinking perky. It’s a coup, really, to see such fine wine from a relatively newcomer outfit. Very good.
