What a cool wine this is. Syrah is given some good time on skins to get chewy and tense while marsanne lends an acid spine and thirst-quenching lift. It’s a party wine with a bit more going on, creative, wildly delicious and drinkable with a crunch and snap found in each sip. Squint and you get a pinot noir or a gamay, in a way. Anywhoo, it’s a ripper from an emerging star producer.
